VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Award in Skin Needling

The VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 qualification in Skin Needling has been developed as a result of a move towards regulating non-medical aesthetic therapies to ensure practitioner knowledge, client care and safety is at the forefront of all advanced non-medical aesthetic treatments offered by therapists. The VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Award in Skin Needling consists of one core module:

  • Provide cosmetic skin needling treatments
    • Know safety considerations when providing cosmetic skin needling treatments
    • Understand how to provide cosmetic skin needling treatments
    • Know the relevant anatomy, physiology and pathologies for cosmetic skin needling
    • Be able to consult, plan and prepare for treatment
    • Be able to provide cosmetic skin needling treatments

This course is available at both our training centres in the West Midlands & Bedfordshire. Students can further develop their knowledge and skills by completing supplementary specialist qualifications at level 4 in one or more of the following areas:

  • Radio Frequency
  • Ultrasound
  • Skin Peeling

Course Fee: £1350

Registration Fee: £150*

Exam Fee: The course price includes case study dates provided upon course registration, one practical exam fee, two attempts of the multiple-choice theory exam and two assignment submissions. For charges relating to additional theory and practical exam attempts, case study days and assignment submissions please refer to our terms and conditions.

Equipment: Students have an option to purchase the CE marked Dermedics MST Micro-needling Pen (including cartridges) at a subsidised cost when purchasing with the course.

Booking Fee: A non-refundable booking fee of £250 is required to confirm your place on the course.  The remaining amount can be paid as a single payment or in four interest free instalments at four week intervals. Please read our terms and conditions prior to course enrolment.

Entry Requirements: Students must have completed a nationally recognised Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or a Level 2 in Facials and a Level 3 in Anatomy & Physiology with a good level of written and spoken English. Please contact us if you do not meet the entry requirements.

Qualification Requirements: Once enrolled, students are provided access to our online learning portal with access to theory and reading materials. Written assignments which can be completed in your own time around current family and work commitments. To successfully complete this course students must undertake clinical cases studies at one of our centres, pass a multiple choice written exam and a practical exam. The written and practical exam equally contribute 50% towards the final grade marked as fail, pass, merit or distinction.
