With a move towards regulation, many local authorities now require practitioners to hold a license to be able to perform hair and skin treatment with Laser and IPL devices. The VTCT ITEC Level 4 Award in Hair Reduction using Laser Systems is a qualification designed to develop skills in performing Laser Hair Removal treatments safely and effectively.

The course will cover the following learning outcomes:

    • Environmental and safety considerations when providing hair growth reduction using Laser
    • Protocols and guidelines for providing hair growth reduction using Laser
    • Relevant anatomy, physiology and pathologies
    • Consultation, planning and preparing for treatments
    • Providing hair growth reduction treatments using Laser

Exam Fee: This includes one attempt of Summative Assessment.

Booking Fee: £270; remaining balance can be paid in 2 or 3 instalments.

Entry Requirements: Students must possess a good level of written and spoken English; an OFQUAL Level 3 in A&P and Level 4 in Core of Knowledge.

Qualification Requirements: Students will be required to complete written assignments, complete five case studies and pass their summative assessment to successfully to complete the qualification.
